Fortunately, the roads are will maintained, the descents technical and the climbs separate whoever needs to be separated. Ride with extreme caution.
The 70 mile route is not for the faint of heart. Although you won’t pass the penitentiary, or be attacked by the Frozen Head Climb, you will enjoy challenging climbs, rolling county roads, navigational challenges and beautiful scenery. The decision point to go continue on the 72 mile challenge or going for the 100 comes 26 miles into the ride. It’s your call so listen to your body and ask yourself, “Do I feel lucky…. Today?”.
